Q. How much control will I have over my web space?

A. You will have control over all aspects of your web space. The package you purchase determines the features you will have available. To use the features you will have your own cPanel. This is a powerful web space management program which allows you to manage all of your features. To get an idea of the features of cPanel you can take a look at the interface screenshot here.

Q. I'm a student at Eclectic Academy now but have no idea whether I will still be a student next year. What will happen to my hosting account?

A. Nothing as long as you renew the hosting fee when it is due. We would love to have you as a student but understand that there may not be courses you want or need continuously. The only requirement is that you be an active student when you sign up for the hosting plan.

Q. Can I use the hosting space as storage for my files?

A. No you can't. There are specific rules for hosting at Eclectic Academy - Hosting. Please be sure you read the Terms of Service before you sign up. They are enforced and if violated, there is no refund on your hosting fee.

Q. I need a domain name too. Do I have to purchase it through you?

A. Domain Name - Order form is our domain name service. If you click the link on your hosting order page you will be taken to Domain Name - Order Form to register your domain name. We think the prices are really reasonable but there is no obligation to purchase through us. You may use any domain name service you wish. There are several listed on the resource page at Eclectic Academy. It is important though to have the domain name prior to ordering your hosting, so do register it first.
